Miss Ireland Wearing Jewellery Designed by Cathal Barber

I was delighted to see Miss Ireland Laura Patterson at the Miss World Contest wearing a beautiful necklace of 18 carat gold, diamond and silver designed and handcrafted by Cathal Barber.

Cathal Barber is an award winning jewellery designer who has trained with the Craft Council of Ireland in Kilkenny. Laura stepped out also in a beautiful pair of Rockin Reptiles shoes that were embellished in crystals to match Laura's dress for the occasion.

Miss Gibraltar was crowned the new Miss World, but Laura must be delighted with her Miss World journey as she took to the stage to represent Ireland there was no doubt that the Irish had an outstanding beauty representing them, in the form of Laura Patterson.

Lounging on the couch and browsing through the papers on a lazy Sunday afternoon..... you can imagine my delight when I spotted none other than a lady pictured wearing the fabulous Angelica's by Rockin Reptile on the front page of the "Home" supplement on the Sunday Times Paper. Miss Ireland to wear Rockin Reptile shoes at Miss World

We are very excited here at Rockin Reptile that the beautiful Laura Patterson will be wearing Rockin Reptile shoes at the Miss World Pagent.

Having been recently crowned Miss Ireland, Laura will travel to South Africa next month, to represent Ireland at Miss World. Rockin Reptile is delighted that Laura has chosen Rockin Reptiles as the shoes she will be wearing.

THE POSITIVE SIDE TO AUTUMN

Okay so the evenings are getting shorter but not to worry at least television has improved, top of my list is X Factor. I am loving Danni's style this season I think she looks incredible and now that we are at the stage of boot-camp and even better it is on Saturday and Sunday night I am delighted i have something to watch on these dark nights. Next up, Johnathon Ross is back on TV and now tonight the Irish Apprentice is back ( i hope it is as good as last season).

So in One:
Friday Night: Johnathon Ross
Saturday Night: X Factor
Sunday Night: X Factor
Monday Night: The Apprentice

all that is left is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday....... but I am sure I will find something to get addicted to on those nights too...

Summer is Over.... but do not fret

Lisa Cannon's Ronaldo Interview

Didn't Lisa Cannon do a fantastic job interviewing Christiano Ronaldo.... when I saw Xpose at the Press Conference... i thought oh! God no .... please tell me Xpose are not going to start talking about Soccer..... Thoughts of listening all about defence, off side rules and cups to be won by Ronaldo is not my idea of entertainment....having to spend most of the year enduring soccer.

But no! fair play to Lisa.... she did not let us down.... and got him to answer questions on his jewellery....his style.... his shorts... and Paris Hilton.... much more interesting to us Xpose fans than hearing about pre-season soccer training...

"We like your little shorts, your new shorts that you've been wearing lately. They're going down quite well," continued Lisa. "They've got your attention, yeah?" Ronaldo replied,

Total Xposure

Rockin Reptile is so excited about watching Total Xposure on TV3 at 9pm on Tuesday 30th June. Total Xposure is the filmed interview process for the new presenter on Xpose. Xpose is aired every weekday at 6pm on TV3 and it is the fashion and celebrity gossip show for Ireland. There are four glamorous presenters and Total Xposure will find the fifth presenter on the show. Emma Ledden is the only female judge on the show and she will be wearing Rockin Reptile shoes exclusively on the show. Tune in tomorrow to see which shoes she wears on the first programme.

Wedges

After spending last Saturday on the go all day firstly at " A Taste of Dublin" in the Iveagh Gardens and then onto Croke Park to "Take That". Walking too and from the gig, standing for the concert and dancing( however badly) on the pitch for a number of hours, I can safely say I have managed the art of wearing the correct shoes to a gig. I am happy to share my wisdom with you.... the solution is a pair of "WEDGES". Check out the Rockin Reptile "Fiona" wedges currently in the shops in this season's electric blue.

Ankle straps make your legs longer

The "Elaine" is a black and cream patent shoe with a hidden platform and a narrow ankle strap.

The trick to making your legs longer is to wear the strap on the biggest setting ..... letting the closed strap sit underneath the ankle bone (as per the picture).....this will give the illusion of longer legs...
